Evidence has shown more than half of all patients living with Diabetes will go on to observe fasting during Ramadan and in some areas it can be as high as 70-80%.
There are best practices to ensure HCPs can best support these patients during this time and minimise any risks that may occur, such as reducing the chances of hypoglycaemia and other related adverse events.
